HD VITAMIN C

Humans do not produce vitamin C, it must be supplemented. We often use HD vitamin C in wound healing protocols as it is essential for collagen, carnitine, and neurotransmitter biosynthesis. (See vitamin/mineral IVs for correction of Vitamin C deficits; this series of IVs is used for other purposes.)
Adequate tissue levels of vitamin C require much higher doses than the standard RDA, which is very difficult to obtain via oral supplementation.
